MVX Price Sync — Privacy Policy

MVX operates MVX Price Sync, a Shopify application that lets merchants update product variant prices from Excel files, convert currencies, preview changes and undo completed updates.

Information we process

• Store domain and Shopify store identifiers, authentication tokens and subscription status needed to connect and operate the app.
• Product and variant identifiers, titles, SKUs, barcodes and prices retrieved from Shopify to match products and prepare price updates.
• Uploaded spreadsheet contents, including product codes and prices. Files are processed in server memory; the original workbook is not stored as a file by the app.
• Operation records, including file names, timestamps, currency and percentage settings, affected variants, and previous and new prices. These records support operation history and undo.
• Information you voluntarily provide when contacting support. Hosting infrastructure may also process technical request information, such as IP addresses and error logs, to deliver and secure the service.

The app does not retrieve or store customer or order records. Do not include customer information or other unnecessary personal information in uploaded spreadsheets.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate your store, verify subscription access, match products, calculate and apply approved price changes, provide history and undo, resolve support requests and maintain service security. The app updates variant prices only.

Service providers and sharing

Shopify processes authentication, product API requests and app billing. Railway provides application hosting and the PostgreSQL database. Currency providers supply exchange rates; the app does not send spreadsheet contents or product records to currency providers. Information may also be disclosed when required by law. We do not sell store data or use it for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Store connection information and operation history remain in the application database while the app is installed. When Shopify delivers a verified uninstall notification, the app deletes the store's authentication records and price operation history. A minimal store and subscription-state record is retained to manage subscription approval and is deleted when Shopify delivers its shop deletion notification.

Infrastructure logs and backups are managed separately by the hosting provider and are not necessarily removed at the same moment as live application records. Uninstalling the app does not reverse prices already applied to Shopify.

Security and international processing

The app uses HTTPS and verifies Shopify session tokens and webhook signatures. Application records are scoped to the relevant store. MVX is based in Istanbul, Türkiye. Hosting and service providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States.

Cookies and tracking

The app may use a signed store connection cookie for its authentication flow. It does not install storefront advertising trackers. This privacy policy page does not use analytics scripts or cookies.
